Invitation

On behalf of the CME Congress 2012 Planning Committee, we are pleased to invite you once again to submit poster abstracts for the Congress which will be held May 30-June 2, 2012 at the Allstream Centre, Toronto, Canada
CME Congress 2012 promises to be especially exciting. The overarching theme of the Congress is “Learning and Assessment in CME/CPD”. There are five related sub-themes:

• Safety and Practice Improvement in CME/CPD
• Simulation in CME/CPD
• Innovations in Learning in CME/CPD
• Interprofessional Learning in CME/CPD

These sub-themes provide a broad framework for exploring the involvement of continuing medical education in the translation of knowledge into practice. In addition to the participation of individuals from many organizations, the Congress will incorporate the annual meetings of the Society for Academic CME and the Canadian Association for Continuing Health Education and part of the annual meetings of the Association for Hospital Medical Education and the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education.
We have already reviewed and accepted 245 innovative and exciting proposals for symposia, workshops, best practices, poster presentations as well as new innovative additions to presentation formats including “Innovations Booth” and “The Fringe”.
At this time, we are pleased to invite you to submit for poster presentation consideration your “works in progress” and “late breaking results” to add to the accepted papers that will be on display in the poster hall.
We look forward to reviewing the new and innovative proposals of our colleagues and finalizing the program for this premier international event.
